Ismael Olmos

Mr. Ismael Olmos, age 76, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 17, 1950, in Melchor Ocampo, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Jose Olmos and Marcelina Garcia Olmos.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose love for his family was evident throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Olmos, who passed away in 2017; both of his parents; his daughter, Magdalena Olmos; two brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his children,  Francisco Olmos, Juan Luis Olmos, Ismael Olmos, Jr., and Antonio Olmos; Lucy Olmos, Isabel Desantiago, and Patricia Netro; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Fernanda Olmos, Carmela Olmos, Antonia Olmos, and Irma Olmos.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Josue Contreras officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Frankin County. Pallbearers will be Juan Olmos, Ismael Olmos, Antonio Olmos, Francisco Olmos, Cristian Olmos, and Zeferino Netro. There will be a visitation held on Friday, June 19, 2026, beginning at 5:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

El Sr. Ismael Olmos, de 76 años, de Pittsburg, Texas, falleció en su residencia el miércoles 17 de junio de 2026, rodeado de su querida familia. Nació el 17 de junio de 1950, en Melchor Ocampo, Zacatecas, México, hijo de José Olmos y Marcelina García Olmos. 

Fue un esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo dedicado, cuyo amor por su familia fue evidente a lo largo de su vida. 

Lo precedieron en la muerte su amada esposa, Maria Olmos, quien falleció en 2017; ambos padres; su hija, Magdalena Olmos; dos hermanos y una hermana. 

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Francisco Olmos, Juan Luis Olmos, Ismael Olmos, Jr. y Antonio Olmos; Lucy Olmos, Isabel Desantiago y Patricia Netro; 23 nietos; once bisnietos; y sus hermanas, Fernanda Olmos, Carmela Olmos, Antonia Olmos y Irma Olmos.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo a las 12:00 P.M. el sábado 20 de junio de 2026, en la Capilla Erman Smith Funeral Home en Pittsburg, con Josue Contreras como oficiante. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Bethel en el Condado de Franklin. Los portadores del féretro serán Juan Olmos, Ismael Olmos, Antonio Olmos, Francisco Olmos, Cristian Olmos y Zeferino Netro. Habrá una visita el viernes 19 de junio de 2026, comenzando a las 5:00 P.M. hasta la hora del servicio en la funeraria.
