Hilda Nile (Hood) Cook

Mrs. Hilda Hood Cook age 75, of Leesburg, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Tyler, TX. She was born November 24, 1946, to Willie Dee and Elta Deverell Hood in Pittsburg, TX.

She is survived by her son JD and wife, Claudia McElhaney of Leesburg, TX; daughter Holly and husband Robin Bradford of Pittsburg, TX; grandchildren, Trever Bassinger, Emily Parr, Cheyenne Reynolds, Hannah Mata, Collen Bradford; great grandchildren, Eli, Kasen, Brynlee, Grayson, Alyvia; brother, Dennis and wife Patty Hood; sister, Nelda Crocker; sisters-in-law, Judy Hood and Sherry Wallace; special sister and friend, Arlene Cook; Step Children Shane, Lane, Donna, Cynthia; numerous step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Earl Cook; son, Jackie McElhaney; grandson, Dakota McElhaney; brothers, John Dee Hood and Warren Hood; brother-in-law, Terry Crocker.  

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday , March  3, 2022, at the Leesburg Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Bro. Ken Manley officiating. Interment will follow at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. There will be a visitation held before the service from 9 A.M. till 10 A.M. Thursday March 3, 2022, at the Leesburg Baptist Church.
