Glenda (Zerwer) Hess

Glenda Hess, 85, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, in a Fort Worth hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Bear Valley Community Church, 7900 Precinct Line Road in Colleyville, Texas 76034.  Interment will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.

Mrs. Hess was born on January 8, 1938, in Dallas, to Wilburn Cris and Geneva Foster Zerwer.  She held a Bachelor of Education Degree from North Texas State University, member of the Chi Omega Sorority, a retired Primary School Teacher, and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Hess is survived by her son, Jason Hess and wife, April; grandchildren, Natalie Hess, Conner Hess, Collin Rawls, Chloe Rawls, Brandon Markley and wife, Darla, and Ryen Levi; great-grandchild, Arya Markley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Hess; son, Brad Hess; parents, Wilburn and Geneva Zerwer.
