Gerald Joseph Peltier

Graveside services for Gerald Joseph Peltier, 84, will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, AR with Pastor Matt Slaughter officiating. Interment will be in Bluff Cemetery, Springdale, AR.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Peltier passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in an Athens Hospital.

Mr. Peltier was born April 16, 1936 in San Pedro, CA to Joseph William and Hazel LaFern Brown Peltier.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his sons, Vincent Peltier and wife, Carol of Bullhead City, AZ and Jerry Wright and wife, Deidra of Bullhead City, AZ; daughters, Penny Rommell of Phoenix, AZ and Pam Spearman and husband, Tim of Pittsburg, TX; sister, Vicki Hare and husband, Richard of Bella Vista, AR: seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Peltier is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joyce Frisbie and Marion Presley.

Pallbearers will be Eric Goble, Bobby Presley, Ted Presley, Justin Mills, Kevin Artman, Rusty Jensen, Richard Hare and Tim Spearman.

No formal visitation is scheduled.
