George Earl Thomas

Mr. George Thomas, age 69, of Pittsburg, TX passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Pittsburg, TX. He was born November 7, 1952, to Oscar Eugene Thomas and Allie Dee Vaughn in Hughes Springs, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Thomas; son, Brian Baird and wife Heather; Daughters, Dana Dawn Lile, Meghan Dunn and husband  Jon, Carrie Herrera and husband Tony;  grandchildren; Hanna Baird, Logan Lile, Dorian Thompson, Trenety Herrera, Gracie Thompson,  Jesse Gillispie, Jack Jones, Sydney Dunn, Eli Leake, Jonathan Dunn, Cooper Dunn; great-grandchildren; Kooper Lile; brothers, Ronnie Thomas and wife Linza, Mike Thomas and wife Gayla; sister, Brinda Rainey and husband Larry; sister-in-law, Sue Thomas.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Thomas.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg with Brother Donald Vaughn Officiating. Interment will follow to Clark Cemetery in Morris County. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.
