George Alton Klutts

Mr. George Alton Klutts, age 73, of Pittsburg, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday April 5, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on July 18, 1952, in Corsicana, Texas to Forrest Alton Klutts and Lottie Lorene Horton Klutts.

George spent his career as a dedicated sales manager for Pittsburg Tractor for 25 years. Beyond his profession, George was a man of many talents and passions. He learned to fish and hunt from his father at a young age, traditions he carried with him throughout his life. He was also known as a gunsmith, taking pride in cleaning and repairing firearms and reloading ammunition.

George had a deep interest in ham radios and was an active member of the Upshur Area Amateur Radio Club Incorporated, where he enjoyed connecting with others who shared his interest.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Joyce Bunkley Klutts; his mother, Lottie Lorene Klutts; his brother, Michael Klutts; his sister, Brenda Hart; his niece, Kayla Klutts; and his nephew, Daren Klutts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Alton Klutts.
