GW Brummell Obituary

Funeral services for G.W. Brummell, 91, of Pittsburg will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Stracener officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer cemetery in Camp County. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Brummell passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at a Pittsburg hospital.

He was born November 5, 1930, in Pittsburg to Jack and Willie May Riley Brummell. A lifetime resident of Camp County a retired welder and farmer and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Mr. Brummell is survived by his sons, Reggie Brummell and wife, Linda and Gerald Brummell and wife, Glenda; daughter Paula Kay Woisard and husband, Bob; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by wife, Ava Nell Brummell; parents; and brother, Bo Brummell.

Pallbearers will be Bob Woisard, Matt Davis, Jason Brummell, Bobby Roopchand, Caleb Davis, and Jed Hefner.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
