Funeral services for Frankie Marsh, 93, of Pittsburg will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Craig Toney and Reverend John Coleman officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill cemetery in Pittsburg. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Marsh passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at her residence.
Mrs. Marsh was born October 13, 1928, in Troup, Texas to Curtis and Lela Kee Pond. Frankie held many jobs in Pittsburg through the years. She worked in the Piggly Wiggly and A&P grocery stores. But she was best known as a salesperson and manager for James Cavender and later worked for David Hoover at the original Cavender's where she faithfully worked for over 40 years. Frankie was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years.
She is survived by the love of life Odis Marsh in a marriage of 75 years; son, Donald Joe Marsh and wife, Janice of Pittsburg; granddaughter, Julie Baha and husband, Nader of Frisco; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Aydin; brothers, Chester Pond and Cecil Pond.
Mrs. Marsh is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Grady Pond, and Marion Pond.
Pallbearers will be Nader Baha, Jimmy Drennan, Bobby Carpenter, Chad Pond, Mike Cavender, and Clay Cavender.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
