Frances Walton

Minnie Frances Tucker Walton of Pittsburg, Texas went to be with her Lord peacefully Tuesday morning, April 19, 2022 in Longview, Texas at the age of 82. Frances was born on March 30, 1940 in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was one of nine children born to Doc and Lillie Mae Goodwin Tucker. She attended school at Dangerfield Highschool and graduated in 1958.

After being a loving and devoted stay-at-home mother for twenty years, Frances worked various jobs. After retiring at 62, she raised her grandchildren Ethan & Brandi Davenport- young survivors of their mother, Cathe Walton. Frances was a member of County Line #2 Missionary Church.

She is survived by her son: Jason Walton, his wife Melissa & their children Riley and Connor; her daughter: Tracy Boyd & her two sons Jackson & Jonathan Boyd; her late daughter Cathe Walton’s children: Ethan & Brandi Davenport; many nieces, nephews & cousins; the father of her children: Doyle Walton; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Lillie Mae Goodwin Tucker; brothers: J.C., Bennie, Stacy and Tex Tucker; sisters: Fayrene Lewis, Margie Woodall, Geneva Williams and Carmen Taylor; and daughter: Cathe Walton.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 22, 2022, at Riley-County Line Cemetery in Camp County with Brother Shane Hayes officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Taylor, Dale Taylor, Johnny Tucker, Jackson Boyd, Jonathan Boyd and Steven Tucker. Visitation with the family will be held grave side at 10:00 A.M., followed by the burial at 11:00 A.M.
