Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Henderson, 71, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Mrs. Henderson passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2024, in Tyler, Texas surrounded by family and friends.
Mrs. Henderson was born on December 23, 1952, in Crosbyton, Texas to Floyd Russell and Joyce Koon Blair. Mrs. Henderson served the community of Pittsburg as a dedicated nurse for over 45 years. She retired from UT Health Pittsburg in 2018. Once retired, she continued working part-time with the hospital until 2024.
Ann was known as a kind, giving, and helpful person who loved her family and friends. When not at the hospital caring for patients, she could be found at a grandchild’s sporting event, helping family and friends, or taking a trip to the beach.
She is survived by her husband, David Henderson of Pittsburg; son, Jeffrey Hall and wife, Chrissy of Pittsburg; daughter, Leslie Henderson and partner, Ray Walker of Pittsburg; stepdaughters, Dr. Chasity Henderson and husband, Dr. Greg Gor of Sugar Land; Christy Taylor and husband, Justin of Lewisville; grandchildren, Coby Wynn, Emily Hall, Clifton Hall, Jordan Walker, Ella Gor, and Harper Gor; brothers, Alan Blair and wife, Melba of Winnsboro; Mike Blair of Royse City; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We must also mention her furry babies, Toby and Sparky.
Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Blair and Joyce Blair Smith; sister, Margret White and Clifton E. Hall.
Pallbearers will be D.W. Lindley, Coby Wynn, Jason Hall, Layne Hill, Ronnie England, Patrick Blair, David Blair, Curtis Ducan, Rob Terry, and Noel Tuaon.
Honorary pallbearers are UT Health-Pittsburg staff members.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
