Edith (Fincher) Baxter

Funeral services for Edith Baxter, 71, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kyle Smith officiating.  Interment will be in the Rose Hill cemetery in Pittsburg.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Baxter passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Baxter was born June 4, 1951, in Gilmer, Texas to Charlie Edward and Edna Jones Fincher.  She worked in the business office for Parker Auto Parts and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Dewayne Baxter; daughter, Buffy Lynn Blasingame and husband, Eric Wilson; brother, Clifford Fincher and wife, Janet; and two nephews.

Mrs. Baxter is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kristi Lee Wilson; and sister, Rayenell  Dickerson.

Pallbearers will be Monty Fuller, Johnny Marshall, Christopher Fincher, Mike Murphy, Wayne Kimbell, Tim Truitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Lankford, Mike Jackson, Roger Pierce, Kevin Fincher, and Gilmer High School Class of 1969.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
