Graveside services for Dorothy Ann Hudnall will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hudnall was born March 14, 1934 in Titus County to E.L. and Cora Crow Roper. She died Friday morning, January 31.
She and W. R. “Billy” Hudnall were married on April 14, 1956. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1982.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Hudnall loved to participate in the church’s handbell choir. She was also a regular participant in WOW (Women of Worth) at Leesburg Baptist Church.
She worked for many years for the Couch family at Pittsburg Insurance Agency. She was also employed at Anderson Lumber Yard, Camp Central Appraisal District and Pittsburg Housing Authority. Mrs. Hudnall was administrative assistant to County Judge Phillip Hawkins.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and other family members as well as her best friends and former caregivers: Sherrie Cromer, Lanell Cavender, Ferris Wilkerson, Kimberly McGowen along with the staff at Pittsburg Nursing Center.
