Mr. Donald Dean Pipkin, age 77, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Pittsburg. He was born August 22, 1948 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Edgar and Ruby Williams Pipkin.
Donald worked for Presley Company in Mt. Pleasant before going to work for Lone Star Steel in Lone Star where he worked until his retirement. Donald was an avid fisherman and this is what he enjoyed doing in his free time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his children, Dallis Stalcup and husband Duane, Frank Morris and fiancé, Becky Schooley, Diane French, and Nita Ann Arellanes and husband Jose; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Wayne Pipkin and wife Mary, and sister Linda Walker and husband Bob; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; and his sister, Lucille Rhoades.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Bro. Clay Potter officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Mahoney Cemetery in Hopkins County. Pallbearers will be, Brian Walker, Clint Smallwood, Ned Storm, Reese Morris, Max Morris, and Hunter Schooley. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
