Don Emery

Don Emery, 90, of Pittsburg, Texas was born December 4, 1931 in Clarksville, Texas to Willie and Ruby Brannan Emery and passed away on July 24, 2022 at his home in Pittsburg.  

Mr. Emery was a graduate of TCU, worked as a coach and Insurance Agent, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg.  

He is survived by his sons, Mark Emery of Pittsburg, Matt Emery of North Richland Hills; daughter, Becky Emery Stuard of Pittsburg;step-daughter, Traci Hazlewood Yourse; grandchildren, David, Jack, Sarah, and Katie Emery, Mandy Stuard Sawyer, Randy and Daniel Stuard; 7 great grandchildren; and a dear friend DeLoris Wilkinson.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elizabeth;wife, Carolyn Hazlewood Emery; sisters, Carolyn and Juanita; and grandson, Brannan Emery.  

The family will have a private family graveside at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.
