Dixie Anna Threadgill

Funeral services for Dixie Anna Threadgill, 76, of Pittsburg will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Anderson and Bro. Dickie Mauk officiating.  Interment will be in the Willow Oak Cemetery in Upshur County.  Arrangements will be under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  She passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023, at her residence with her husband and daughter by her side.

Mrs. Threadgill was born September 25, 1946, in Texarkana, TX and worked for Wal-Mart for many years and was a member of Willow Oak Baptist Church.

Mrs. Threadgill is survived by her husband of 45 years James Threadgill of Pittsburg; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Larry Kirby of Texarkana, AR; her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Valarie Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; two grandsons, Charlie Johnson and Nathaniel Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; her brother, Ricky Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, TX; and sister, Gayle Johnson of Texarkana, TX.

Dixie was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Vahoose; brother, Sammy Johnson; and sister Kita Patricia Johnson.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
