Deborah Sue (McNeese) McNeese

A Celebration of Life for Deborah Sue McNeese, 66, of Gilmer, will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. McNeese passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. McNeese was born September 4, 1959, in Orange, Texas, to James Wafer and Melba Ruth Whitfield McNeese she was a retired Regional Marketing Development and a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Medrano and husband, Even; Stephanie Sowerby and husband, Elijah; grandchildren, Hadassah, David, Liam, Isabella, Rapheal, and Sammuel; brothers, Tommy McNeese and David McNeese; and sister, Sherry Lewis.

Mrs. McNeese was preceded in death by her parents, James Wafer and Melba Ruth McNesse.

No formal visitation is scheduled.
