Connie Simmons

Connie Simmons 84, born January 21,1942, in Arkansas and passed away peacefully at her home in Pittsburg, Texas, on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Connie was a home maker and loved to travel - seeing most of the fifty states and Canada. She often took lady only trips with friends and family to craft fairs in Northwest Arkansas and South Texas.  She took the grandkids to Disney and Branson several times.  She loved sewing and crafting. 

Left to treasure her memory are her children:  son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Pamela Simmons of Arlington, Texas, son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Robin Simmons of Huntsville, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Scotty Loftis of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Jeremy Loftis, Lydia Pruitt,  Erica Goodman, Rylie Simmons, Chance Simmons, Sarah Grace Simmons, Brooks Briscoe, and Blakeley Briscoe; great grandchildren, Jackson Wright, Caden Wright, Alexis Wright, Keely Goodman, Bryson Goodman; and Georgia Jane Pruitt.

Connie married Bobby on February 5, 1960.

Preceded in death by her husband Bobby, parents and brother.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Rose Hill Cemetery.  There is no visitation scheduled.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St Jude.
