Clifford John Fitzgerald was born April 16, 1947 in Port Washington, WI to Roland John Fitzgerald and Leona Glieber Fitzgerald and passed away on September 22, 2022 at his home at Lake Cypress Springs, Tx..
Mr. Fitzgerald graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and was an automobile dealer and owner of Quitman Ford. After purchasing Quitman Ford he was a founding member of the Lake Fork Quitman Kiwanis Club, he was also a founding member of the Eldorado Scotch Club. He will be remembered for his smiling face and his kind and generous nature. He enjoyed his home at Lake Cypress Springs which he considered to be his heaven on earth. He will be so dearly missed by his loving wife, family and many friends
Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife, Ann Oakes Fitzgerald of Lake Cypress Springs; children, Catherine Iles of Gratis, Ga., and Susie Oakes Herbstritt and husband Trey Morton of Austin; niece, Heather Fitzgerald Morrow and he husband Ted and their children Gavin and Reagan; sister-in-law, Dorothy Oakes Miller and her husband Edward Troy Miller; numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, John Roland Fitzgerald and Edmond Francis Fitzgerald.
