Claudette (Proctor) Mullinix

We are celebrating the life of Claudette Proctor Mullinix, who was born February 26, 1939 in Gilmer, Texas to Woodrow Wilson Proctor and Dorothy Dell Ridgeway Proctor. She went to meet her Savior in the evening of October 15, 2025 in Pittsburg.

Claudette was a pastor’s wife, a mother, grandmother, a sister, and a friend. She loved singing, sewing, scrapbooking, crafts, and her family. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1957. She married the love of her life Loyd Durand Mullinix on August 23, 1954. She worked for Patterson’s Furniture as a bookkeeper for nearly 45 years. She worked with children and taught ladies Sunday School Classes in many of the churches her husband pastored.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ferguson and husband Stephen; grandsons, Derek Christopher Ferguson and wife Christina, and Ian Lane Ferguson; her sister Annette Miller and husband Bill, along with several nephews and nieces.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Loyd Durand Mullinix, and both of her parents, Woodrow Wilson Proctor and Dorothy Dell Ridgeway Proctor.

A Celebration of Life for Claudette will be held at 11:00 A.M.  Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Bro. Brian Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Those serving as pallbearers will be Derek Ferguson, Ian Ferguson, Brian Miller, Scott Miller, Keagan Miller, and Eli Miller. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
