Mrs. Christina “Tineke” Nieuwenhuizen Koller, age 58, of Cumby, formerly of Pittsburg, passed away on Tuesday December 16, 2025 surrounded by her family in Plano. She was born January 12, 1967 in Hilversum, Netherlands to Otto and Teuni Talmon Nieuwenhuizen.
Tineke was a dairy farmer her entire life, she started as a child and eventually owned her own Dairy from 1989- 2014. Even after getting out of the Dairy business she still owned and milked a few cows. She enjoyed riding horses, going to any Rodeo as a spectator especially with Rhett, and thoroughly enjoyed going to the NFR with her friends. Her grandson Rhett was the center of her world. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, and had been visiting Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak after moving to Cumby.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Koller; daughter, Amanda Koller Claxton and husband Ryan; grandson, Rhett Claxton; and her mother-in-law, Christien Koller.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Otto and Teuni Talmon Nieuwenhuizen; and her father-in-law, Koen Koller.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg with Rev. Jeff Dungan. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Clifton Cemetery at 4370 CR 4370 Point, Texas. There will be a visitation held on Monday December 22, 2025 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
Those wishing to offer brief remarks during the service are warmly welcomed, and the family kindly requests that they contact them beforehand to make arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg or a ministry of the donor's choice.
