Charles Ray Kyle, Jr.

Memorial service for Charles Ray Kyle, Jr., 69, of Pittsburg, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023, graveside at Nevills Chapel Cemetery, County Road 3210, Mt. Pleasant, TX with Caleb Hamrick, officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  He passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, in a Pittsburg hospital.

Mr. Kyle was born April 1, 1954, in Miami, FL to Charles Ray Sr. and Dorothy Goggans Kyle.  He retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service, then retired from Pittsburg ISD, and was a member of the Greer Blvd. Church of Christ.

He is survived by his brother, Jeff Kyle and wife, Robyn, several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Charles enjoyed collecting coins, trading gold, metal detecting, and loved reading western novels.

Mr. Kyle is preceded in death by his parents.
