Carolyn (Roark) Turnbull

Memorial services for Carolyn Turnbull, 71, of Henderson (formerly of Pittsburg) will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg with Reverend Jeff Dungan and John Snincak officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Turnbull passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, in a Henderson nursing home.

Mrs. Turnbull was born December 21, 1950, in Upshur County to Vestal Franklin and Elsie Louise Owens Roark.  She worked for Pilgrims Pride for many years and was a member of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Earl Pinson and wife, Patty of Ada, OK; daughters, Elois Alder and husband, Eric of Columbia, SC, Rhonda Jean Snincak and husband, John of Fort Mill, SC, and Ginger Robin Wallace and husband, David of Henderson, TX; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Louise Mayo, Jerry Roark, Terry Roark, James Roark, Pam Mosley, Bertha Fredrick, Tammy Saylor, and Katie Gonzalez.

Mrs. Turnbull was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Turnbull, Jr., parents, three brothers, and one sister.

No formal visitation is scheduled.
