Brandon Heath Franks, 49, of Pittsburg, TX, was born June 13, 1975, to Carolyn Heath Franks and the late Thomas A. Franks. He passed away on February 17, 2025.
Brandon was a graduate of The High School for the Performing Arts of Houston, as well as a graduate of Full Sail University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He was a talented musician, known for his dedication to his craft and his ability to connect with others through his music. He also received his Culinary Art Certificate from Northeast Texas Community College and served as a chef at various restaurants. Brandon was a devoted member of St. William Laud Episcopal Church, where he found comfort and strength in his faith.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Franks; his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Xavier Franks and Brianna Franks; his uncle and aunt, Harvey Mitchell and Jan Franks Mitchell; as well as other extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Andrew Franks; grandparents, Kent Livingston Franks and Georgia Helen McGill Franks, and Milton Robinson Heath and Martha Elizabeth “Billie” Heath; and his uncles, James Milton Heath and Kevin Ray Franks.
Brandon’s life will be remembered for his passion, kindness, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Brandon’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg with Reverend Jeff Dungan officiating.
