Obituary

Barbara Ann Guerra, 76, of Pittsburg, went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023 in Tyler, Texas.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Barbara was born September 16,1946, in Pittsburg, Texas to John Byrd (Jack) and Rosie Edna Phillips Ellison, Jr. She was the retired owner of Ellison Upholstery which she ran with her Mother Rosie for over 30 years. Barbara was a lifelong member of Reeves Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children. Daughters, Brenda L. Moses and husband Jason of Goliad, Texas, Laura A. Morris and Racheal L. Luccous of Pittsburg and son, Anthony D. Guerra of Pittsburg.

She is survived by her 17 Grandchildren Travis Warrick and wife Alanah, Christopher Warrick and wife Katie of Alexandria, LA. Catie Sas and husband Ryan of Round Rock, Texas, John Wayne Warrick and Bradlee Warrick of Pittsburg, Rose Marie Moses of Goliad, Lindsey Morris and Breanna Morris of Pittsburg, Haylee Meehan and husband Dereck and Valentina Aguirre of Sulphur Springs. McKenzie Guerra, Deanna Britt and husband Bryce, Rebecca Rose Guerra of Commerce. Kaden Guerra, Brighton Guerra, Braidan Guerra of Oklahoma and Madison Tate of Longview

She is survived by her 7 Great Grandchildren Ava Mae Sas, Wesley Travis Warrick, Gene William Warrick, Madeline Marie Warrick, Nevaeh Guerra, Esmerelda Tate and one on the way Jaxson Britt.

Barbara is survived by her sister Sarah Jane Luccous and husband Ralph of Midway, Texas.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Guerra; parents, John (Jack) B. Ellison, Jr., and Rosie Edna Phillips Ellison; grandparents, John B. Ellison, Sr. and Bessie C. Ellison, Isaac T. Phillips and Everleaner Phillips.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to celebrate Barbara’s life.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made in Barbara’s name to the Reeves Chapel United Methodist Church, PO Box 762, Pittsburg, Texas 75686.
