Angela C. (Chapman) Saunders

Private funeral services for Angela Christine Saunders, 41, of Leesburg, TX will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Ed Covey presiding and conducting.  Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, Camp County, TX.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Angela passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 not far from her home in a hospital in Tyler, TX. She was surrounded by her husband, parents, and siblings.

Angela was born June 1, 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa to Kim Eugene and Kathleen Marcia Case Chapman.  She was member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a passion for family history. She worked for the family businesses in various positions and taught English for VIP Kids. Although employed, Angela was a fulltime homemaker; her greatest desire was to be a mother, and her greatest fulfillment in life was finding joy in motherhood and nobility in womanhood.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Saunders; children, Triston Adams, Savannah (Ryan) Adams Fueston, Emma Adams, Isabella Adams, Hyrum Adams, Curtis Adams, Ethan Adams, Miriam Saunders, Geneva Saunders, Alayna Saunders, and Lenora Saunders; step-children, Aaron (Taren) Saunders, Carol (Samuel) Saunders Contos, Stuart Saunders, Emma Saunders, and Rosie Saunders; parents, Kim Eugene and Kathleen Marcia Chapman; grandmother, Eloise Lucille Case; siblings, Stephanie (Charles) Chapman Ramen, Joshua (Shalie) Chapman, and Jacob (Jennifer) Chapman; step-grandson, Jacob Contos; seven nieces, six nephews, a great-niece, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. Angela had an unforgettable personality and leaves behind countless  friends. Each who knew her has personal memories they will forever hold dear.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eugene and Marjorie Wright Chapman.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Saunders, Triston Adams, Hyrum Adams, Curtis Adams, Ethan Adams, Joshua Chapman, Jacob Chapman, Chuck Ramen, and Samuel Contos.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
